I didn’t grow up with a lot of Family Traditions, however my Mom and I always did certain things together like camping out on Black Friday, getting a live Christmas Tree, going to neighborhoods with lights decorated for Christmas, opening a small gift on Christmas Eve and watching the news to count down for Santa and follow his location over the world. Once my mom realized I really didn’t believe in Santa, I think her heart broke and most things we usually did together started to no longer exist.
Honestly as a Mommy, I’ve been slacking in this department! It was hard to transition into the one who needed to start traditions, so I started a few simple traditions like cookie baking in pjs on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day Brunch, neighborhood light watching and opening a gift on Christmas Eve, and I always still have the feeling like I was still missing something. Mommy Guilt to the fullest!
This is the first year that both of the girls can actually help me create Christmas traditions! Each year as they get older my plan is to have them help me with the calendar, and they can pass it into their own families or create one they can do together as sisters! Hopefully this idea will grow with them!
Our 25 days of Christmas Activities Calendar is packed! I found the inspiration within the girls. Alexa likes crafting, baking and movies and Abigail just likes to busy! I am sure the girls will love this as much as I will watching them doing some of the activities.
I will also share our calendar activities on Instagram!

What are some traditions you have in your family? I will need more ideas for next year! Or maybe I can tweak this years activities!
